BLAST! MAGAZINE (Centenary Edition)
Celebrating 100 years since the first edition was published. The magazine was born with the aim to encourage a new movement both in Literature and in the Visual Arts. Creating the Vorticist Movement. The magazine was mainly composed by Wyndham Lewis; featuring artists and writers - which at the time supported the newly created movement. They created a Manifesto questioning very boldly the current situation in both the political and Art World.
The theme for this Centenary Edition was "conflict". I decided to explore the type of conflict we seem to face with ourselves when starting to doubt our current reality, consequently effecting our surroundings. The magazine is divided into different sections, composed of a mixture of literary works from various books. As well as personal writings specifically, made for the chosen topic.
